Breaking my 16 hour fast before I start work with this little number I cooked up this morning! 3 egg omelette, 6 rashers of grilled streaky bacon and a Stapleton strawberry yogurt which is 25% fruit and even had a whole strawb in! 528 kcals, 41g protein, 21g carbs and 32g fat.
Last time I tried intermittent fasting I found it such a struggle, as I forced myself to eat all my macros within an 8 hour period but became remotivated after following @max.lowery on insta and reading his blog.
This time round I am finding it soo much easier, having no time limits other than ensuring I fast for at least 16 hours after my last meal. I have not felt hungry at all, except once when I couldn't break my fast till 1pm and had trained at 8am that morning, and usually have 2 meals of 500-800kcals (and sometimes a snack too). I still count macros when fasting as weight loss is my goal so I need to be in a calorie deficit, and fasting helps me stick to my macros.
I would definitely say gluttony is my biggest sin and I was always snacking and thinking about my next foodie fix but since fasting I hardly think about food at all and feel I will soon be ready to extend my fasts beyond 16/17 hours!
